Opened in 1922, the York Hotel offers a colorful history. The hotel’s Plush Room was a speakeasy in the 1920s and now thrives as one of the city’s top nightclubs. The maze of subterranean passageways to the "secret cabaret" still exists today. The hotel was also a setting for Alfred Hitchcock’s classic thriller Vertigo.
